The Monopod is a collapsible pole that is ideal for holding the camera out in front of you while skiing, boarding, etc. The Drift Monopod Pole is designed for use with the HD170 and X170 Stealth action cameras. The telescoping pole allows you to put the camera securely on one end for shooting video of yourself while skiing, snowboarding, or performing other action sports. You can also use it to get closer to another skier or rider, or take advantage of high and low camera angles for more dramatic footage. The monopod uses a standard 1/4"-20 mounting thread, which also works with the small, lightweight POV cams made by Contour and GoPro (using optional adapters).
